Chattanooga police identify teenagers wounded in overnight shootings

The Chattanooga teenagers wounded during two shootings overnight Tuesday have been identified.

Bullets grazed Zaccheus Hardnett, 19, and Deraesean Bowman, 18, while they were sitting on a porch at 1703 E. 14th Street around 1:20 a.m. Wendesday morning. A third, 16-year-old victim was hit in the abdomen, but because he is a minor his identity will not be released, police said.

The 16-year-old is in stable condition. According to witnesses, a masked passenger fired from a vehicle at the men.

Police also identified the victim of an earlier shooting at 1000 North Orchard Knob Avenue as Joshua Lee Crump, 19. Crump told police he was shot by an unknown suspect who fled on foot around 11:33 p.m. Tuesday.
