A 17-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a drive-by shooting that injured three teenagers in Highland Park on Wednesday.

The 17-year-old, whose name has not been released because he is a minor, is charged with three counts of aggravated assault and one count of reckless endangerment.

The shooting happened at 1703 E. 14th Street around 1:20 a.m. Wednesday. Witnesses said a masked passenger started shooting from a vehicle as it drove by the house, injuring a 16-year-old, 19-year-old Zaccheus Hardnett and 18-year-old Desaesean Bowman.

All three of the victims were sitting on the porch at the time of the shooting. The 16-year-old was hit in the abdomen but is in stable condition. The other two teenagers were grazed.
