Work to replace the bridge and interchange at exit 20 on Interstate 75 in Cleveland is requiring the highway lanes to be closed on some nights this month.
Lanes will be closed for safety as crews use cranes to lift new spans into place on the bridge over I-75, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
The northbound lanes will close Monday night and Aug. 20 and Aug. 21, weather permitting. The southbound lanes will be closed Tuesday and Thursday plus Aug. 18. Hours for all closures are 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Traffic will be detoured by way of the entry and exit ramps. Flaggers will be used if needed and the Tennessee Highway Patrol will assist with traffic control
