CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Bradley County Sheriff-elect Eric Watson said he will be naming the six members of his command staff this week.

In a news release, Watson said he has chosen people "who have the ability and experience needed to achieve the goals that I have set for the Bradley County Sheriff's Office."

"My campaign promise to the citizens of Bradley County was to create a new spirit for the department and take it in a new direction. With the new organizational steps I will implement, this promise will be achieved. Steps that will provide the deputies and support staff with a positive and cohesive work environment. Better utilization of supervisory positions that will provide more deputies to patrol our streets and neighborhoods. Leadership that will, by example, renew our commitment to provide the law enforcement services that Bradley County needs," Watson said.

He said he will begin announcing the names Wednesday and will present them to the public at 2 p.m. Friday in the Bradley County Commission room.
