The 1100 block of Broad Street, between 11th and 12th streets, will be closed beginning today for repair and replacement of windows in the overhead pedestrian walkway at the TVA building. The closure will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the road will remain closed through Tuesday, Sept. 30.

There will be two special events that are scheduled to use this route during the closure. The contractor is aware of the special events and will remove all the construction equipment to facilitate the use of the roadway during those events.

The curb lane of the 1100 block of southbound Carter Street will be closed for a maintenance project on the Siskin Building tomorrow from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. This is a single-lane closure only.
