Rep. Kevin Brooks of Cleveland re-elected

NASHVILLE -- Rep. Kevin Brooks of Cleveland was re-elected Republicans' Assistant Majority leader this afternoon.

Brooks was elected with 44 votes to 28 votes for challenger Rep. Jeremy Faison of Cosby.

In other Gop Caucus election, house Speaker Pro Tem Curtis Johnson of Clarksville was nominated by acclamation.

House Reublican Caucus Chairman was elected to his party post without opposition as well.
