EPB unwraps four new channels for TV subscribers in time for Christmas

On the seventh day of Christmas, EPB gave to thee: Sundance TV.

The city-owned utility is putting together a gift basket for its TV subscribers that also includes IFC, Fusion and EPIX 3 HD, according to an announcement released today.

Chattanooga subscribers to EPB's Fi TV Silver or Gold services will have four new channels beginning Saturday.

"Our customers asked for these additions and we are happy to deliver them for the holidays," said John Pless, EPB's public relations coordinator. "We are always working to enhance the value of our services for our customers."

IFC is a spin-off of the Bravo network, specializing in independent films, cult televisions series and specials.

Sundance TV was founded in 1996 by Robert Redford in partnership with Universal Studios.

Fusion offers American Hispanic-flavored programming, with a variety of news, current events, pop culture and analysis.

And EPIX is a movie channel, with a smattering of comedy, music and boxing specials as well.
