Suspect on the loose after Saturday morning stabbing

The Chattanooga Police Department has a warrant out for Sean Michael Scruggs, 30, in connection with Saturday morning's stabbing.

Police were dispatched around 9:40 a.m. to 5201 Woodland View Circle. Once on scene, officers found Kameron Sales, 18, suffering from a non-life threatening stab wound, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.

Charde Joseph, 27, was also at the residence when the stabbing took place.

Scruggs is believed to have left the scene in a gold colored vehicle, according to the release, and officers believe the stabbing was the result of a domestic dispute.

Scruggs is wanted for especially aggravated burglary, attempted murder, aggravated assault (domestic) and vandalism.

The investigation remains ongoing.
