The man driving the Ford F-150 wore a hooded camo jacket and a blue shirt, not an unusual sight in East Tennessee.

Only the truck wasn't his. He allegedly stole the truck on Shallowmeade Lane in the East Brainerd area, alone with the victim's credit cards.

According to police, the short, black male with a dark complexion then made several purchases at restaurants and convenience stores up and down Shallowford Road and on 23rd Street in Chattanooga. He made his final purchase at the Mapco at Highway 153 and Hamill Road, where he was caught on surveillance footage entering the store at 1:52 a.m. on Dec. 15.

Video shows the suspect pulling into the lot in the stolen truck and walking into the store to make a purchase.

Anyone who can identify the suspect is urged to contact the Hamilton County Sheriff at 423-209-8940.
