High school students, parents and educators from all over the Tennessee Valley are invited to attend the Public Education Foundation's College Knowledge Lunch & Learn sessions.
Thee free monthly lunchtime workshops will focus on college related topics such as essay writing, college financial planning and college admission, according to a news release. Other adults who work with or advise students on the road to college are invited as well.
There will be five sessions this spring. The next one will be Tuesday, Feb. 11, titled "Resume Writing & Interviewing Skills".
All the sessions will be from noon to 1 p.m. and will be held in the Public Education Foundation office on the 3rd Floor in the Ruth Holmberg Center for Excellence. PEF is located at 100 East 10th Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402.
PEF will provide an optional lunch for $5 a person, according to a news release. Lunches must be pre-ordered, so RSVPs for lunch are required.
