Police: Tour bus, tractor-trailer crash in Vermont

NEW HAVEN, Vt. - State police say a tour bus and a tractor-trailer have collided in western Vermont. No serious injuries have been reported.

The Vermont State police said in a statement that a 911 call was received at about 8 p.m. Friday reporting the collision between a tour bus and tractor-trailer on Route 22A in West Haven, about 70 miles south of Burlington.

Rutland Regional Medical Center spokeswoman Jill Jesso-White says that 22 patients, all adults, have been treated for minor injuries, and most have been released. She said another adult with non-life-threatening injuries is being kept overnight for observation.

It's not immediately known how many passengers were on the tour bus, or if the driver of the bus or tractor-trailer were among those treated at Rutland. Neither the point of origin nor destination of the bus was immediately known.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
