FedEx launches second small business grant contest

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Memphis-based FedEx has launched its second nationwide small business grant contest with the first-place winner to receive $25,000.

To be eligible, a business must have fewer than 100 employees. Competing businesses will complete a profile that is voted on by Facebook users. The top 100 finalists will write an essay. FedEx will select the winners based on their essay submissions, contest profiles and number of votes they receive from Facebook users.

Ten winners will be selected on March 24, with four receiving $5,000 grants and five receiving $1,000 grants.
