Christopher J. Johnson is accused of raping and kidnapping two young girls.A 49-year-old man will serve 50 years in prison after admitting to the kidnapping, rape and torture of two girls, ages 13 and 14.
Christopher Jeffre Johnson pleaded guilty Thursday in Hamilton County Criminal Court to four counts of aggravated rape and two counts of especially aggravated kidnapping.
"Johnson's sentence of 50 years to serve reflects the seriousness of his crime, and while I have no doubt that his victims will never fully forget what they endured, perhaps knowing that he will never be able to hurt anyone else will bring them some closure," prosecutor Charlie Minor said.
On July 1, 2011, Johnson took the girls, one of whom he knew, to a McDonald's for food and then to a wooded area behind 421 Wilcox Road, near Raccoon Mountain Road, according to court documents.
Once in the wooded area he "bound the victims with duct tape and rope and made them perform oral sex on each other," according to court documents.
"He also made them perform oral sex on him numerous times," documents state. To force the acts, Johnson burned the girls with a cigarette lighter and assaulted them with the handle of a brush.
The girls reported the events to police and were taken to the rape crisis center for treatment.
He received 25 years on the rape charges to run consecutive to the 25-year sentence on the kidnapping charge.
