When the Academy of Country Music announced nominees this morning for its April awards show, two local radio hosts were among the honorees.
Bill "Dex" Poindexter and Melissa "Mo" Turner were nominated for small-market ACM On-Air Personality of the Year. The pair host WUSY FM-101's afternoon drive show, "Dex and Mo."
WUSY also was nominated for Radio Station of the Year in small market category.
The ACM Awards will be presented April 6 during a televised broadcast at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
