A 22-year-old black male suffered a gunshot wound to his knee at 262 W. 38th St. around 5 p.m. Monday.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he received treatment for a nonlife-threatening injury.
Investigators are working to determine the facts surrounding the incident, but the victim is being uncooperative, according to the news release. Chattanooga police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423-698-2525. More information will be released when available.
