Visitors will have the chance to see remastered, re-enacted and digitally enhanced depictions of the Allied landing at Normandy in 3D on the big screen today, narrated by Tom Brokaw.

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the D-Day invasion, the Tennessee Aquarium will show "D-Day: Normandy 1944," a documentary of the historic military battle, invasion and World War II turning point.

Local retired Gen. B.B. Bell will speak and World War II Medal of Honor recipient Charles Coolidge is scheduled to be in attendance.

The Chattanooga National Medal of Honor Museum will receive the proceeds from ticket sales. Museum director Jim Wade and the facility's board began fundraising efforts this year to bring the museum back to downtown Chattanooga, where it was established in the late 1980s.

The museum will have artifacts from the World War II era and a display recounting the Medal of Honor recipients from D-Day.

Show times are at noon and 2 p.m. today, Saturday and Sunday.
