A fire at Food Works on the Northshore.Food Works is closed following a kitchen fire that damaged much of the North Shore restaurant with smoke. Though the fire was contained to the kitchen area, it took several fire companies approximately 20 minutes to get it under control. The Chattanooga Fire Department responded to the fire, where smoke and flames were showing, at 2:50 a.m. Sunday and called an additional fire company due to the size and scope of the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Caution tape is wrapped around the door and a sign telling customers the business is closed is posted on the window Sunday at FoodWorks after an early-morning fire.
