JASPER, Ala. - Authorities in Walker County were expected to resume the search for a missing boater.
WBRC-TV reports that 53-year-old Danny McCleskey was last seen Saturday night while working on a boat on the Black Warrior River.
Crews searched the river unsuccessfully Sunday near the Tutwiler community. The search was expected to resume Monday morning.
McCleskey's daughter says her father fell overboard while trying to attach a light to a crane. She says another person on the boat tried to throw him a rope, but her father couldn't reach it and went under.
