Orlando RamirezA suspect in a fatal shooting at a Dalton, Ga., nightclub was arrested Monday in an Atlanta suburb.
Orlando Ramirez, 20, was taken into custody around 4:30 p.m. in Marietta, Ga., according to a news release from Dalton police. Investigators acting on leads that Ramirez was in Marietta at the Harmony Meadows apartment complex on South Cobb Drive contacted the Cobb County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshals Southeast Region Fugitive Task Force to begin surveillance in the area.
Ramirez was shot with a stun gun during the arrest, but no one was injured, police said.
The suspect was wanted in connection with a double shooting at Las Delicias Bar at 511 E. Morris St. in Dalton early Sunday morning.
