MACON, Ga. - Authorities are investigating a house fire in Macon that claimed the lives of two people.
Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones said 81-year-old Luther Crump died at his home on Ell Court after the blaze started around 5 p.m. Friday.
Jones tells WMAZ-TV that Crump's wife, Daisy, was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia and later died of her injuries.
Jones says investigators are still looking into the cause of the blaze.
