Casey Cox has won the Republican primary for the Cumberland County Sheriff race.
With all 24 of the county's precincts reporting, Cox earned 5,286 votes. His opponent, Terry Hoss White, received 2,612 votes.
Cox will take on Democratic candidate Dean Farley in the general election in August. Farley ran unopposed in his party.
