Henry, Tidwell and Hurst lead in their primary races

Results in countywide clerk races show Larry Henry, Gwen Tidwell and Pam Hurst leading.

In the Hamilton County Circuit Court Clerk race, Republican Commissioner Henry has 6,923 votes. Ron Parson has 1,832 votes and Lisa Bowman has 3,102 votes. There were 23 write-in votes.

No Democrats qualified for the race, but there are 110 write-in votes.

Hamilton County Criminal Court Clerk incumbent Gwen Tidwell has 4,226 votes, and her Democrat challenger, Brian White, has 795 votes. There are 10 write-in votes.

The winner of that race will face Rep. Vince Dean, R-East Ridge, in the general election. Dean is the only Republican to qualify for the post. And there are 75 write-in votes.

Republican Register of Deeds Pam Hurst has 9,685 votes. She's being challenged by Republican Ryan Epperson, who has 2,087 votes. There were 15 write-in votes.

No Democrats qualified for the Register's office. But there are 98 write-in votes.

County Clerk Bill Knowles and Juvenile Court Clerk Gary Behler are running completely unopposed.
