The Chattanooga area's growing hotel market will see yet more lodging space as Value Place, the largest economy, extended-stay hotel brand in the U.S., is planning a new four-story, 124-room structure off Lee Highway not far from the Volkswagen plant.
Value Place is partnering with local franchisors Amish and Dipal Patel to develop the hotel at 7710 Lee Highway with plans to open in the first quarter to 2015.
Ron Burgett, executive vice president of franchise development at Value Place, said in a statement that the VW plant is nearby and the hotel will provide "first-quality, affordable extended-stay option for business travelers, employees relocating to the area, and visitors...."
Once completed, the hotel will feature such guest amenities as laundry facilities, and modified kitchens.
