Polk County Mayor Hoyt Firestone has won the Democratic primary

Polk County totals show that Mayor Hoyt Firestone has won Democratic primary with 1,754 votes.

Fellow Democrat Blake Rymer came in second with 1,262.

Republican candidates David Dishman and Scott Yates split the primary.

Scott Yates took 298 votes and David Dishman took 232.

he was an August general election with Scott Yates.
