I-24 eastbound closedInterstate 24 Eastbound has been closed to through traffic Monday morning after a serious, multi-car accident forced police to close the roadway near Mile Marker 179 and Exit 180A/U.S. 27.
Traffic is being diverted to surface roads and back onto the interstate.
There's currently no word on the motorists involved in the accident.
