The vehicle emissions testing centers in Hamilton County will close Saturday and Monday in observance of Memorial Day, but will resume testing on Tuesday with their regularly scheduled hours.
"Customer service remains a top priority for us," Prentiss Taylor, program manager for the Tennessee Vehicle Inspection program administrated by Envirotest Systems, said. "Planning ahead means less time waiting in line and more time enjoying the start of a beautiful, Tennessee summer."
Taylor recommends visiting the testing facilities on Wednesdays and Thursdays, when testing volume is usually lighter, and to avoid testing in the final days of the month.
