Woman faces charges in alleged robbery of man at Motel 6

A woman was booked at the Hamilton County Jail on Tuesday, two months after a man was robbed at a Motel 6.

Whitney King, 27, is charged with aggravated robbery. She will appear in Hamilton County General Sessions Court on June 10.

On March 26, William Lowe reported to police that King and a man wearing a ski mask held him at knife point in a motel room, tied him up with duct tape and took his wallet, phone and car keys before driving away in his car.

Lowe told police he had "gotten a room" at the Motel 6 with King, who he knew only as "Whitney." He said King left the room and came back a few minutes later with the man who assisted in the robbery.

King had an aggravated assault charge dismissed in March.
