Shooting tileA 16-year-old was taken to the hospital after he was shot around 7:40 p.m. Sunday. The victim's injury was minor and non-life-threatening.
The victim, a black male, told investigators that he was near Emma Wheeler Homes when he heard three gunshots and noticed he was shot. He was unable to provide any suspect information, and officers were unable to locate a crime scene. Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
