Bradley deputies arrest Catoosa County fugitive

A fugitive from Catoosa County, Ga., was arrested in Bradley County, Tenn., according to a news release from Sheriff Eric Watson, with the Bradley County Sheriff's Department.

Bradley County deputies responded to a call about a suspicious person at a residence on Benton Pike, and upon arrival they found a male carrying what appeared to be a firearm hidden in a wrapped-up shirt. He was threatening to harm himself and the deputies, according to the release.

After approximately two hours of negotiations the man surrendered without incident and officers were able to identify him as Franklin Osborne, the release said.

He was initially transported to Skyridge Medical Center for treatment, and is currently being held at the Bradley County Justice Center.

A female at the scene was also taken into custody, the release said.
