12th District Attorney General Mike Taylor said today that an autopsy of the 5-year-old boy found dead in Marion County last weekend revealed that the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head.

Taylor said the TBI is treating the death of Lucas Michael Dillon as a homicide investigation. He said the TBI has been conducting interviews with everyone who had access to the boy, including the boy's father, and the father's fiance, who made the 911 call. He said the case is still very much in the investigative stage.

Dillon was found "severely injured" at a Whitwell home Saturday.
