The Chattanooga City Council will have new leadership when it next meets.

The council unanimously elected Councilwoman Carol Berz as it's new chairwoman.

And the body had a near unanimous vote to elect Councilman Moses Freeman to the vice chairmanship.

Only Councilman Larry Grohn voted against Freeman for the post.
