In addition to the two stolen barbecue grills and a propane bottle, police found loaded guns, methamphetamine, marijuana and a large number of illegal prescription pills inside the Henagar homestead, according to a news release sent by Sheriff Jimmy Harris.

In light of that fact, police arrested Jeffery Ray Clardy, 37, and Justin Nicolas Hicks, 21, and charged the duo with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Hicks was also charged with theft of property, which was returned to owners.

"Henagar Police Department, DeKalb County Sheriff's Deputies and Investigators put in a lot of time and hard work to make this case come together," Harris said. "I'ts great having the working relationship that we do with Henagar Police Department and the other cities in DeKalb County. This makes all of our jobs easier working together in this manner."
