The man who was stabbed multiple times during a fight outside of Sugar's Lounge on Monday identified his attacker as 50-year-old Earnest Carthorn, according to police.
Carthorn was arrested Thursday and charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault.
The stabbing happened at 830 Dodson Ave. at about 10:20 p.m. Police arrived to find the victim, 50-year-old Robert Peck, unconscious on the sidewalk with multiple stab wounds in his upper torso.
After Peck was stable in a hospital, he told police that he fought with several people at the club over a woman.
He said he was hit by a chair in the back of the head, then tried to run away but was stabbed several times.
He said it was Carthorn who stabbed him and he picked Carthorn out of a police photo line-up.
Carthorn was booked into the Hamilton County Jail and released on bond.
