A woman was found dead on Lookout Mountain early Saturday morning and two people are wanted for questioning in the case, the DeKalb County, Ala., Sheriff's Office reports.

Deputies were sent to a house at 1587 County Road 127 around 4 a.m. CDT where they found a woman's body, Sheriff Jimmy Harris said in a news release.

Investigators found bruising on the body and speculate she might have died from blunt force trauma to the head. The woman's body has been taken to the Department of Forensic Science in Huntsville for an autopsy.

The sheriff's office said the homeowner, Doug Minor, reportedly left the scene in a 1998 White Ford Ranger with tag number 28BJ617. He may have had Norma Jo Grinnell as a passenger. Anyone who spots the vehicle is asked to call 256-845-3801.

Minor, 32, is 6 feet tall and weighs 190 lbs. Grinnell , 36, is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 185 lbs.

Harris said the two are considered "dangerous and maybe armed."
