Meet the four finalists vying to lead Chattanooga State

The Tennessee Board of Regents has named four finalists to lead Chattanooga State Community College. Those chosen by the selection committee include:

* Karla A. Fisher, vice president of academics and former interim president at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kan.

* Kevin A. Pollock, president of St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron, Mich.

* Roger A. Ramsammy, provost and chief academic officer at Northern Virginia Community College's Manassas Campus

* Flora W. Tydings, president of Athens Technical College in Athens, Ga.

Each finalist will participate in campus forums and community receptions next week. Their application materials can be viewed on a special presidential search website.

A search committee was charged with identifying and interviewing three to five finalists to replace former President Jim Catanzaro, who stepped down in December amid scandal after 24 years at the helm. Fannie Hewlett is serving as interim president.
