The city's transportation experts want to know what people think of plans to create a new transportation center and look at other aspects of transportation in the city, such as existing bus routes, personal transportation choices, the effectiveness of public transit and how transportation options help spur economic development.

CARTA is hosting its first workshop for the Multimodal Transportation Center Study from 5:30-7 p.m. today in the Roosevelt Room at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. The public is invited for discussion and light refreshments. Free parking is available at Shuttle Park South.
