Man falls 50 feet from zip line

An employee at a Sevier County zip line attraction was seriously injured in a fall Monday, authorities said.

Jeremy Blair, 35, fell approximately 50 feet from a zip line into the woods below shortly after 11 a.m. at Wahoo Ziplines on Matthews Hollow Road, according to the Sevier County Sheriff's Office.

Emergency responders carried Blair out before he was flown by Lifestar helicopter to the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
