A 19-year-old Chattanooga man accused of killing an 18-year-old man in April was today indicted for second-degree murder.

Julian Pasley is accused of killing Malik Blackstock on April 7 in an apartment in Windsor Terrace.

Some witnesses said that Pasley had been playing with a revolver when it fired, and that Pasley claimed it was an accident. But at an earlier court appearance, Assistant District Attorney Lance Pope said the killing was intentional, and may have been motivated by gang rivalry.

Police have said that both Pasley and Blackstock were members of the Rollin 40s Crips, but Blackstock was trying to leave to join the rival Gangster Disciples.
