Four teenagers in DeKalb County, Ala., were arrested after they broke into the Valley Head High School football stadium concession stand and the old gym store Wednesday, according to a release from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office.

Waylon Burton, 19, Patrick Sinns, 18, were charged with burglary third degree and receiving stolen property. Two other juveniles - a 17- and 16-year old - were charged with the same charges but remain in their parents' custody, the release said.

The four broke into the school where "approximately $250 in damage and items were taken," the release said.

Burton and Sinns were found with the stolen items by authorities, and both were recognized as former students by faculty at Valley Head High.

"This is great work by our School Resource Officers from Valley Head and Moonlake," Sheriff Jimmy Harris said in the release. "This is another reason why we need to keep officers in every school. To not only protect the students and teachers but to be there for cases like this."
