GAINESVILLE, Ga. - Police say a school bus driver faces a second-degree vehicular homicide charge after a 52-year-old woman's death in a crash.

The Gainesville Times reports that 56-year-old Vanessa Clark also was charged with failure to yield after a stop sign. School and law enforcement officials said Clark's bus was carrying 31 students in north Hall County on Tuesday afternoon, when she attempted to make a left-turn and hit a passenger car.

Hall County fire and sheriff's officials said the driver, 52-year-old Sabrina Tench of Cleveland, was reported dead at the scene.

It's not clear if Clark has an attorney.

Officials said 6 children aboard the bus had minor injuries.
