19-year-old wounded after being shot twice in the rear end in Chattanooga

A 19-year-old man was taken to the hospital after being shot twice in the rear end, Chattanooga police said.

Joshua Woodruff said he did not see anyone shooting and didn't know who his attacker was.

Police said Woodruff's injuries are not life-threatening.

Police interviewed Woodruff at the hospital. He said he was in the 3400 block of Wilcox Blvd. when he heard shots. He got in his car and drove away, and only realized later he had been shot, he told police.
