The human remains found in Friday morning's fire on Suck Creek Road have been identified as John H. Winnie, 58, by the Hamilton County Medical Examiner.

The blaze started around 7 a.m., and quickly burned the trailer where Winnie lived at 2320 Suck Creek Road to the ground.

Winnie's death appears to be accidental and related to the fire, as there is no evidence of foul play, according to Janice Atkinson, spokeswoman for the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

The case will remain under investigation pending an official cause of death by the medical examiner, Atkinson said.
