Six people killed during winter weather in Tennessee, including one in Chattanooga

Six people have died in Tennessee during the winter weather this week, according to the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency.

Knox County: 30-year-old male, motor vehicle accident
Overton County: 38-year-old female, motor vehicle accident
Williamson County: 34-year-old female and 10-year-old male, motor vehicle accident
Hamilton County: 63-year-old male, hypothermia related
Shelby County: 48-year-old male, hypothermia related

Hamilton County's victim was a homeless man who froze to death hours after he was turned away from a local shelter.

Tennessee remains in a state of emergency as temperatures are forecast to get colder.
