CLEVELAND, Tenn. - An elderly Bradley County woman has been taken to an out-of-state burn center after suffering injuries in a house fire at 765 Hancock Road late this morning.

The 83-year-old woman, whose name was not immediately released, was treated for severe smoke inhalation at the scene, said Stan Clark, spokesman for Bradley County Emergency Services.

"The victim was given CPR and a pulse was restored," he said.
