A Chattanooga woman was arrested today in connection with the theft of a 2010 Porsche 997 valued at $175,000 out of a man's garage back in December.

Chelsea Griffith, 23, allegedly broke into the garage of Bailey Jones, of 829 East Eighth St.

Jones told police that the vehicle was locked in his garage with the keys inside and was unsure of how Griffith might have gained entry into the garage. Jones told police that he doesn't know Griffith.

The car was found abandoned the next day and Griffith's fingerprints were found on the center console.

Griffith, whose address was listed on a court document as 907 Summer St., told the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office that she was homeless at booking. Griffith is charged with criminal trespassing and theft of over $100,000.
