Crews have been working since Thursday to cleanup the hazardous material that spilled when a tanker truck carrying the materials crashed into a creek on eastbound Interstate 24 in Marion County.
Jennifer Flynn, regional community relations officer for the Tennessee Department of Transportation, said the cleanup is now complete.
The cleanup, along with the installation of a new guardrail near mile marker 162 and the Haletown exit, has been finished and all lanes are open, Flynn said.
