A 67-year man was found dead Saturday afternoon near an open Benadryl packet and bee sting ointment.

After investigation, the Bradley County medical examiner determined that the man may have been stung by wasps that were found in the yard where he was working.

Bradley County emergency responders were dispatched to his residence on Saturday around 7:30 p.m. after receiving a call about an unresponsive man. When they found the man, he was sitting in his truck, deceased.

He was last seen alive that morning at 9:30 a.m. by neighbors. But they became concerned in the evening when they noticed that his truck was still at the residence. When they found him, they called 911.
