A two-vehicle crash killed one on Tunnel Hill Road, just north of Mulberry Lane in Catoosa County, Ga., the Georgia Highway Patrol said.
According to a preliminary crash investigation, a silver Jeep Liberty going southbound on Tunnel Hill Road crossed the center line and struck a green Mitsubishi Eclipse.
The driver of the Jeep, a female, was ejected from her car and died, an official from the Georgia Highway Patrol said. The other car had no injuries.
The identity of the female has not been released as the next of kin has not been notified yet, the official said.
The crash occurred near an overpass of I-75 and officials from the Georgia Highway Patrol are still on the scene conducting an investigation.
