Memphis police say a pregnant woman who was shot in the face has lost her baby.
The 22-year-old told police she was sitting in a car with a male friend when he shot her Sunday morning.
The woman, who has not been identified, was taken to Regional Medical Center in critical condition. Officials say her unborn baby was pronounced stillborn after she underwent surgery.
Police say no arrest has been made, and that an investigation is continuing.
