A 37-year-old Chattanooga man was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly charged at a girl who accused him of sexual assault - while the girl was speaking to a deputy.

According to his affidavit, Kasey Boran sped up to the house on Birmingham Highway around 9 p.m. Tuesday in a pickup truck while the girl, who will not be identified because she is a minor, was talking to a Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputy.

Boran then jumped out of the truck and charged at the girl and the girl's mother, according to his affidavit.

The deputy ran between Boran and the girl and broke up the altercation, according to the report. But when the deputy returned to the home later on to talk to a witness, Boran kept interrupting conversation and refused repeated warnings to stay inside.

The deputy eventually told Boran he was under arrest, but Boran ran into the house and into a back bedroom. The deputy followed and said that Boran charged at him from the bedroom.

The deputy fired his taser at Boran and hit him in the shoulder, according to the affidavit. He tackled Boran but the man kicked him in the leg, the deputy reported.

The deputy tased Boran again in the lower back and then was able to handcuff him.

Boran has been charged with coercion of a witness, assault on police, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He was still in custody at the Hamilton County Jail on Wednesday.
